Chimp in the Suit |
I recently got the DRS album, too. I'm obsessed with "Love is my Legs." The first time I listened to it I almost wet myself when I heard Norbet scream "OH MY GOD!!!! I'M STANDING! I'M STANDING!!!!!!"
Chimp a nice song.
But does anyone else think "Love Sneaks In" is an amazing song? It's a quick but absolutely beautiful and touching song.

I loveloveLOVE the bonus track with Sherie's jazz rendition of "Nothing is Too Wonderful to be True." GORGEOUS.
I actually really liked "Chimp in a Suit"- it was the first song in DRS that really impressed me. It's a charming number, and perfectly in character.

I like "Great Big Stuff" It reminds me of one of my friends.
I'm not a gay stereotype. I'm a coincidence.
I would only call it unhealthy if it is interfering with important aspects of your life. If you have quit your job and are neglecting nutrition and personal hygiene to listen to the song, this would be worrisome.
"Do you know ChrisLovesShows?" "Yes. Why, yes he does!"
I am partial to "Here I Am." But, then again, I'm a sucker for big entrance numbers.

The entire OBC is completely addictive--I am loving "The More we Dance"--the lyrics, expertly delivered by John Lithgow, are hilarious!
Wow! Everyone has a different favorite number! Mine is "Oklahoma?".
Praying Decca Broadway will put "Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope" on CD!
Here I Am + Great Big Stuff + Dirty Rotten Number= Heaven
throw in The Reckoning (which I LOOOOOOOOVE) and I have enough enetertainment for a lifetime and a half.

Current Avatar: Cynthia Erivo, bringing down the house in The Color Purple.
I just think the whole CD is fabulous. The music could be better, but the lyrics more than make up for it.

I go with Love is my Legs
Question: Will Esparza win for The Homecoming?
BobbyBubby: I hope so. If only for the mental health of many people on this board.

I've worked through my obsession with Great Big Stuff and Love is My Legs....and am now in love with Son of Great Big Stuff :)
I LOVE Like Zit/ Like Zat, Here I Am, and Nothing is too wonderful to be true.
Happy...Everything!
Kaye Thompson
Ruprect made me laugh so much I had to have arest afterwards!
If Spamalot beats this show for best score, the world has gone mad. (If Light wins, that's fair enough, because it is in a totally different vein.)

thats so weird because i think that out of Gregory's numbers Like Zis/Like Zat is not his best... oh well, each to his own. i do like Here I Am and Oklahoma has its moments but its not close to my favorite

wow cool. the only problem with Chimp in a Suit is that:
IT'S TO SHORT!
but Sherie has a great voice
