I'm a collector of Broadway souvenir programs and am amazed how they have changed over the years. I recently added "Urinetown" and "Barnum" (the program published after it won its Tonys) to my collection and love their designs. One of my favorite programs is for "On the Twentieth Century," not because it's my favorite musical, but because of the way it uses the logo throughout the program. What do you consider some of the best souvenir programs in the last, say, 30 years?

I don't like Hairspray's at all. Rent has a nice one, as does Gypsy. I like 42nd Street's. I don't know if it has changed, but it gives the story and tons of pics. I also like Chicago's- again, it may have changed- but it showed pics of companies from all over, and a lot of different people playing each role.

Well I am not sure if Modern Millie's souvenir program is different on tour (they added tour pics along with broadway), but it sucks! The quality of the pics are all different. I enjoyed Mamma Mia's a lot. It had all of the productions up to Bway.
