Can anyone offer any help in dealing with these morons? If you don't like your seats and you do another search on their website, you will more than likely receive the same seat assignments. I've called them and their customer service reps are no better. They become quite impatient when you ask for tickets in a specific section. I've tried numerous time to buy tickets for WICKED on the first weekend in January, and it's been an absolute nightmare. I'm just tempted to use Broadway.com to purchase the tickets. It's eleven dollars more, but it's a lot less aggravation.

Yes, they really, how do I say this....suck. Sometimes you get a nice person on the phone who is willing to work with you but that's a gamble. The worst is "Well, yes there are some orchestra seats available but the computer won't let me sell them to you." WTF??? Do you have any friends in New York? If you have a friend who can go to the box office in person for you, this is the best way to get around the Ticketmaster nightmare.

I stopped using Broadway.com because you can never see your exact seat (until it arrives in the mail), just the section. Is is still this way?

"Do you know ChrisLovesShows?" "Yes. Why, yes he does!"

When I use Broadway.com, I specify the seats I will accept. If they can't supply them, they email me back with different seats, but they don't charge me unless I accept them.

Ticketmaster is truly a nightmare. I'm hoping Telecharge doesn't go the way of Ticketmaster, but I'm not happy with their new website. The old one was much simpler.

Ticketmaster DOES suck. I got two tickets in the mail once for the same seat and was charged twice. Ticketmaster would not help me, even though I sent them a certified letter with the identical tickets enclosed. My credit card company finally took care of the charges after five months of arguing.

Chris is right about having a friend get them for you.
