Ok, since we (mainly I) have been hijacking numerous threads about this man, I am just going to start my own. Ok, here we go, let the discussion begin.

Sorry but when it comes to an opportunity to make fun of CCR I just cannot resist. At least she's now going to play Belle in Atlanta. Inflict that voice on the red states!
Hey, I am in one of those red states and you people in the blue states can keep her. Granted, I don't live in Atlanta so it doesn't really matter......but still.

I am ordering the dvd from amazon.com when I get payed this Friday. I have never seen him perform, but I own the "Main Event" dvd and the way he sings those songs.....he sings it as if he is in that show, dressed in the costume and it is just great to watch him sing.

Small correction, he was never on broadway. He said he will not leave Australia to come to Broadway. But, yes......him and Lea would sound awesome in a duet.

I've never seen Anthony perform, but I have all of his recordings. Based on those alone, I can say without any doubt that he is the most gifted musical theatre talent in the world. He's so virsatile it's almost scary, and can easily pull off any style from opera, to golden-age musical comedy, to rat-pack swing, to modern pop-opera. He even manages to sing duets with himself that are hardly recognizable as the same person. His range is incredible, his tone perfect, and his vibratto control is like none I've ever heard...and well, he's what I want to be when I grow up.
You and me both. I am such a Warlow fan geek, it is not even funny (I even have his autograph, so BOOYAH!!! ) I am just waiting for him to come out with a classical album since his roots is in opera. Please, let that be his next project and not 10 years in the making like his last one.

You should have seen him in tights and Prince Valient wig in Opera Australia's 'Patience'!
I saw that; he was hysterical in it. What I really wish is to have seen him in 'My Fair Lady' - I hear he was incredible. And spider, I really like that avatar .

I know, I know, sorry... You know, time difference and all.
And about the opera album... I swear he said he was working on it, right around the time he released 'Midnight Dreaming'. Whatever happened to that project?
I don't know. Supposedly he was working on it and it was going to be his next release, but then Face the Music came along. I wonder if he shelved the idea or wanted to get a cd out to get his fan base going again before releasing a classical album. Mr. Warlow, if you are reading this........PLEASE MAKE THAT ALBUM!!!! I am not a big fan of Opera but I can only imagine what he would sound like singing those arias. *Sigh*
