The Flea Market looks so cool but I was thinking if it happened in London it would get about 2 people turn up. It really bugs me coming on this board to see how famous theatre stars are whereas people like Ruthie Henshall are just nobodies over here (practically, she's the most high profile star we have).

How many people go to the Flea Market?

Ruthie Henshall ROCKS! She's a star here right guys? I'd say thousands show up for the flea? It's pretty hard to estimate because soooo many people come and go every 3 seconds.

Hundreds of people go. And fortunately, it's right amongst all of the theaters, so even people who didn't know about it, but are going to a Sunday Matinee see the crowd and stop by.
And A LOT of celebrities go. It is nice that theatre is so welcomed and appreciated here. Though I live in NYC, and grew up with theatre being appreciated. I don't know how the rest of the United States is with it? Then again, Americans are a much more tell it like it is, be amongst the celebrities, people. Where as Europeans (though their Paparazi's sp? are much worse) are more reulctant to go up to a celebrity and just start talking. LOL In other words, they have manners.

I adore Ruthie Henshall...She was one of my favorite people at the Flea Market last year...I wish her cd would come out over here...

I had a dream... I dreamed it for you June... It wasn't for me Herbie... And if it wasn't for me, then where would you be, Miss. Gypsy Rose Lee?
