Anyone here on the board having a problem with getting e-mails returned to you that you didn't send from address you don't have in your address book? Something about a movie?

I ran a virus scan and it turned up nothing. I can't figure out what it is or how to get rid of it...

One of the latest viruses going around... It takes real addresses it finds on infected computers, and spoofs itself as it sends out as coming from one of those addresses, which is why you're getting the bouncebacks. Sadly, nothing can be done - you just need to wait for the virus to run its course and all those infeceted to patch themselves.

Thanks Rob. I just feel bad that people might be getting something from me that will hurt their computer.

I don't remember opening anything about a movie but would like to warn anyone who gets anything from me about one in the title: Please delete it--it's NOT from me!

I also had this problem... the bounced e-mails stopped for a couple of weeks, but then started again. Most recently I got a message that an e-mail I supposedly sent to the David Letterman Show was returned.
