Coming from Rhino Home Video is the 80's sitcom hilarity of Too Close For Comfort: The Complete First Season. Starring the late Ted Knight and Jim J. Bullock, this three-disc set includes all 19 episodes in 4:3 full screen and Dolby 2.0 surround, and includes audio commentaries on select episodes by cast and crew, new interviews and episode synopses. List price will go for $39.95.

I LOVED this show..I think it's great that so many tv shows are making the transfer to the dvd format, I am playing my The Office seasons one and two non-stop!

What classic or not so "classic" television would you like to see made available?

I would purchase a DVD of anything from the Nick at Nite line up of 1994. I Dream of Jeannie, Dick Van Dyke, Bewitched, Mr. Ed...

Its gotten scary that the shows on the current line up are shows that I remember watching the original episodes in prime time.

Dick Van Dyke (also DVD) IS on DVD I had thought...

I'd like to see Life Goes On as well as the rest of the Muppet Show episodes.

Sonny and Cher/Donny and Marie could be fun LOL

I would like to see Newhart. That show was classic especially the last episode.

Sonny & Cher would be great......just for her clothes alone :)

The best of Sonny and Cher is available, it's grea tset and Northen Exposure Season 1 is out with Season 2 on the way...

I am actually hoping for the short lived "Working Stiffs" with Jim Belushi and Michael Keaton, it also featured Paul Reubens in a small role as the comic foil!

That is so sad. Too Close For Comfort was badly written, for the most part poorly acted, just a horrible mess of a sitcom. Why not put out some classics rather than bring back this pathetic thing?
Now living in DC. I really have to change my name on the board.

Speaking of Too Close for Comfort. I had heard that Jim J. Buttocks, i mean Bullocks was a heir to the Bullock's Department Store dynasty. However, a friend dated him (a lovely man, apparantly), and said that is not true. Deal anyone?

Oh...all right!

WHY WAS IT THAT EVERY SINGLE TIME SOMETHING...ANYTHING HAPPENED TO CORKY, PATTI LUPONE HAD TO BURST INTO SONG????

Corky ties his shoes, Patti sings WIND BENEATH MY WINGS.

Corky drops a plate, Patti sings THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL.

Corky takes a dump, Patti sings BRICKHOUSE.

I mean...do the developmentally disabled really need to be serenaded when they manage to open a door??? COME ON!!!

PS...LOVE 'I, Martin Short, Goes Hollywood'
