Some people actually prefer the front mezz. At the premiere of Gypsy, quite a few celebs sat in the mezz...including the director's fiance (Kate Winslet). I prefer Orchestra myself.

Posted: 6/21/03 at 10:50amshe was in the front mezz haha!! But her and her friends were all split up.. 2 sat with her..the rest on the left side. I over heard her talking after she came up the stairs and was like "cant i just see a show haha" in a nice way..then her friend smiled and said "i dont get how the press knew you were in nyc at Hairspray" so what happened was she was naturally harrassed by some press as soon as she stepped out of her car.

I kinda liked when she sang in the movie "Death Becomes Her." I just love the opening scene, and I didn't get why those people would walk out of the show. It looked fine to me.
God! Now I'm trying to remember the lyrics and I can't!
