Does anybody know what show this song is from. It is an ensemble piece about students being afraid of their teacher asking a question about Edgar Allen Poe in class today.......

Yay for Snoopy! I'm so glad someone else besides myself knows the show. I have the London cast recording...are there any other recordings out there?

Yes, actually I'm pretty sure there's two recordings, one being the London one (thats the one that I have also.) When I was looking to buy a version of it I saw there was a 1975 San Francisco cast recording of it also. Trying to buy in a store just wasn't happening, I couldn't find it anywhere but I ended up finding it online. The SF recording is 14 tracks while the London one is 20 so it is a bit shorter.

However I've never heard the SF one, I only know the London one.

EDIT: Trying to buy IT in a store, sorry.

I love that song! The only problem is that I can't find the lyrics to it. So does anyone have the lyrics to the London version of "Edgar Allen Poe"?
