is anyone else out there as excited as i am about the upcoming broadway musicals of 1949 show at town hall? huffman, ziemba westenberg, lennie watts? and what a year: south pacific, lost in the stars and Gentlement prefer blonds. How's that for an ecclectic combination?!

well, i'm happy to report it was a wonderful evening. karen ziemba (doing a lovely "i'm in love with a wonderful guy," among others)and cady huffman (doing a very sexy "diamonds are a girl's best firend" among others)were dazzling, but that was expected. But here's what took me by surprise: Marla Schaffel. She was amazing! and a stupendous dance number between nancy lemenager and noah racey was fabulous (though their great chemistry together is hardly surprising given their history). I only wish that dance number was twice as long! martin vidnovic's "some enchanted evening" was great too. Was anyone else there?
