I am a huge fan of both these great ladies. I understood Striesand was going to direct this vehicle and Cher was set to Star as the legendary Mame. I cannot wait to see this. Is this project going ahead, on the backburner, or has it just been forgotten?

Forgotten...cher and streisand will not be doing it. The rumor is Christine Baranski as Mame.

Yes, didn't Jerry Herman say recently that this project (the TV Mame) had been bumped way down on his list of priorities?
