One gift my wife got me for Christmas was a DVD recorder. The instructions were a bit convoluted plus I am not mechanically inclined so it took a while. I finally got it hooked up. I can start transferring many VHS tapes to DVD. I also intend to take musical numbers from Tony telecasts & put them on DVD'S

Some of the shows I have which I will finally have on DVD are:

1. Tru
2. Death of a Salesman
3. Crazy For You
4. Sherlock Holmes
5. I Do I Do ( Hal Linden & Lee Remick )
6. Black & Blue
7. Eubie
8. Which Witch

I will also get some of my movies taped from cable & in widescreen (& not available on DVD now) onto DVD

Hallelujah. Life is good.

I got one of those for Christmas too. Haven't even tried to transfer my vhs to dvd yet. That's a project for the next snowy or stormy weekend. I wonder what the dvd quality is like when you're starting out with vhs that is of a lesser quality. Let me know how it turns out.

About $ 350 on QVC. I am copying as we speak . I have so many Broadway VHS plus movies, TV & Cliffhanger serials I will be taping for about 1 year. I will save a ton of space
