Roxane Carraso and/or Brenda Braxton's entrance in Chicago. Also wanted to add...DLC's Act Two Monologue and Chasing Rainbows from HA and the opening to Ragtime..or when Maureen Moore goes on as Rose in Gypsy

"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."
Rose's Turn in Gypsy. The passion just made me cry. Let's hear for the one and only Bernadette. Curtain up. Moved me. 90 Minutes of Forbidden Broadway.

The end of Rent when the lights lower on stage and they role Mark's movie on various things on stage. Then they all come together to sing the final round and Angel comes back...I get chills everytime!!!
Also, when Elphaba rises above the stage in Defying Gravity from Wicked, and Penny Pingleton: "I'm a pretty girl Mamma!"
Yeah, ss did you see the movie? After the B'way version, I was so dissapointed by the way the movie ended...it just seemed anti-climactic in comparison.
Gimmee Gimmee in Millie the first time i saw it. I was so moved. Sutton gave the performance of a lifetime. She will be missed. Forget About the Boy- My second favorite number in Millie. And the elbow number.
In Rent, during 'Another Day', when the Life Support meeting joins with Mimi, the lights go over the Life Support, and they do this funky lean thing- it's great.
Elphaba in Wicked as she gets lifted up during 'Defying Gravity'.
When Maureen gets the croud to moo with her durin RENT.
hmm my favorite would be "one day more" from les miz, i also thought the ending of The Producers was funny...like when they do that song "thanks for coming to see our show sad to tell you we gotta go!"
"Chicago is it's own incredible theater town right there smack down in the middle of the heartland. What a great city! I can see why Oprah likes to live there!" - Dee Hoty :-D
The "It's Me!" during Defying Gravity in Wicked When we see Mark's film in Rent The"If you want to rational it isn't very hard to see.." in Little Shop. Don't know why. When Eponine comes out to sing "Take my hand and lead me to salvation..." in Les Miserables
The first act finale of Urinetown. Funniest thing I've ever seen. There were so many ingeniuos things happening in those five minutes, I couldn't believe my eyes. No major sets or special effects, just brilliant staging.
"What can you expect from a bunch of seitan worshippers?" - Reginald Tresilian
Broadway724, I love you for loving my girl's entrance in Chicago lol
I too, will have to say Rox's entrance as Velma in Chicago (god am I predictible or what??)
Also, Older Helen's Monologue/"Im Always Chasing Rainbows" in Hollywood Arms. God love Donna Lynne Champlin and her lungs and phenomenal acting abilities.
"You're every gay man's wet dream!" ~ MA
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
Not Broadway, but I figured that the Act 1 finale in Jerry Springer the Opera, and the Act 2 finale, are two brilliant pieces of musical theatre. 30 Jerry Springers tapping 'what the ****, what the ****, what the ****ing ****ing ****' is an aquired taste. But it's sure as hell funny.
Ragtime - Act I Finale Les Miserables - Act I Finale A Chorus Line - Act II Finale
I might repeat to myself slowly and soothingly, a list of quotations beautiful from minds profound - if I can remember any of the damn things.
--Dorothy Parker
'Without You' in RENT-only when sung by Karmine Alers. The finale of Man of La Mancha Nude puppets making love-Avenue Q 'I Don't Care Much' in Cabaret The shooting in Anna in the Tropics...not that it's great, but it was just a very powerful scene.
"I really liked the show--Wish I saw Boy's Night...Am I allowed as I am not a boy anymore:)"-duffyny1
When Millie turns around with her suitcases in Not For the Life of Me at the beginning. One Day More in Les Mis The end of Wicked! When you see the tapping feet in 42nd Street =)
*Don't dream too far, don't lose sight of who you are*
I can't pick just one.... I'm not very good with commitment. But here are a few of my favorites:
The end of Cabaret. I was completely shocked. The opening of 42nd street, when all you see is the dancers' feet. The opening of Act II in Rent, when the cast lines up on stage to sing Seasons of Love. In Aida, when the music gets really loud and Amneris sings "This is the story of a love that flourished in a time of hate... etc" and the lights and the set change to be in ancient Egypt. The end of One More Day from Les Mis Don Quixote singing the Impossible Dream in Man of La Mancha
