Loving the new look! I'm sure there will be a few growing pains, but overall it's so much cleaner and more modern without losing too much!

Really not loving how message board posts are now shoved in between two dense columns (articles and videos). It's so much text all at once. I wish posts had more horizontal real estate instead of 1/3 of the page (when they're 100% of the reason I'm even on that page to begin with).

I love the new look and things are so much easier to read on the board without all the gray! I like the additional content space too compared to the previous cramming in of all the stuff on the right.  The navigation is so much cleaner too.

I like it. My only issue is why in some spots there’s 3 boxes for one topic. For example:

Box 1: Link to thread - New Look for BroadwayWorld!

Box 2: Replies / views

Box 3: Most recent reply

I do like the ———PLAYS TODAY——— separation though

The ads is what bothers me the most but I understand BWW is still a business and they need to make money somehow.

I'm really confused, is there more ads now or has the layout changed so that the ads are more prominent? There doesn't appear to be much separation now between the posts and ads (e.g. strong borders or background colour to separate) - so my eyes are bleeding because I just see flashing moving crap around the screen while I'm trying to read the posts. I'm sure I'll 'get used' to it but I can't say I'm enjoying this.

I’m loving this new look! As mentioned, it will take some getting used to but I always love seeing new looks!

The idea is to work and to experiment. Some things will be creatively successful, some things will succeed at the box office, and some things will only - which is the biggest only - teach you things that see the future. And they're probably as valuable as any of your successes. -Harold Prince

I love the clean font! I am on the site mostly for the message board (and now mostly lurking the boards through my phone) and I think the only thing I don't like is how much space is between each subject line now on the mobile version. It was nice to just quickly glance at a bunch of subject lines at the same time, but as others have said, I probably just need to get used to it.

Whatever you do, don’t go back to the Grey House thread because the new formatting has all the spoiler toggle’s open. And I actually miss the spoiler toggle box vs a click here.

Wait, I just opened the boards on mobile for the first time and I vehemently HATE how every thread is now separated by category/section. I like coming on here and automatically seeing which threads have been commented on most recently at the top. I can eventually get used to a cluttered layout, but this new sorting feature is just terrible. Please reverse this.

Omg yes. So testing on mobile the ad issue actually isn’t really any issue there and I can tell the layout has been designed to be more mobile/optimised. But unless they fix the category issue it’s pretty impossible to use. Is there a setting somewhere for us to change or something?

Morning! And happy rollout day. We're mid-launch at the moment, but popping in to report that the spoiler issue has been fixed and will roll out in about 15 minutes. And by around 9 if you hate the new (though smaller) Musical/Plays topic highlights, you'll be able to turn it off at the top of your settings page.

Good to know. I’ve been avoiding that thread because I’m trying to go in without knowing anything. But I’m wondering if it’s the same issue with spoilers on other threads

Looks much better than before especially on mobile!

I use an ad blocker (pretty much exclusively because of the overwhelming ad presence on this site) so that element isn't an issue for me here.

Having a separate "recommended for you" and "most popular" and "latest news" is overkill (at least as it relates to the Board)...combine them into one on the right side of the page with everything else, keep the left side clean. Or if there is content on both left and right, balance it better and cut all the photos.

Then there's just lazy things (i.e. not pulling a production photo of Barbara Bryne and instead having a corporate logo)

It looks cleaner and I'm not getting the pop-up videos with every page refresh. So looks like an improvement.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Some other realizations:

- When editing a post, the content on the right side starts to cover up the text box. the "update message" button sends you to the bottom of the page and does not post.

- Kill all text/content above the Board. You know it's a primary traffic driver to this site, let people read what they came here for with as little scrolling as possible.

The edit function works, but, after you hit "update message," you have to enter your email address in the "sign up for the newsletter" box every time. Once you hit "sign-up," it posts. Needs to be fixed.

FIXED. Thank you.

Is there a search function available in the message boards?  It had disappeared in the Off-Topic board some time ago.

Love the new font - so much easier to read. However, as others have said - I don’t like the homepage on the app for the message board. I miss having all the recently posted threads in a space that I can easily access

The recently posted threads are all right there in the correct order of time on the front message board page on the app, now they're just separated by the big black bars that show which heading each is under. The black bars are unnecessary though, and it would look better with a thinner line with no heading between each thread, but with a heading bar that says "recent threads" at the top of the list, so that people can quickly see where they are on the page.

It is one of the options in the large black box labeled BROADWAY MESSAGE BOARD.

This looks and feels like an early 2000s Chat Room now ugh. My screen has more blank space on it than content. The board itself is taking up less than half the width of the page. The ads are WAY too prominent here. This is a massive downgrade in my opinion

Don’t like it. Very messy and hard to read anything with the coloring.
