I hear rumors about the West End Cabaret going to the Lyceum later this year or early next year but I think those have been confirmed to be false. However, I think the Lyceum needs to have a MAJOR renovation project done before its next show moves in.
The idea is to work and to experiment. Some things will be creatively successful, some things will succeed at the box office, and some things will only - which is the biggest only - teach you things that see the future. And they're probably as valuable as any of your successes. -Harold Prince
Is the London Cabaret more glamorous than a lot of productions, which have emphasized the sleaziness and disrepair of the Kit Kat Club? If decay, then The current state of the Lyceum is probably okay, unless it’s unsafe.

The Lyceum has needed a reno for a long time, and with Shubert just coming off of the expensive Cort renovation and now planning a MAJOR reno of the Majestic, I do not see any work being done on the Lyceum anytime soon. We all want it, but it's a pipedream.
I've heard through reliable sources that Cabaret will go to the Hudson after Doll's House since ATG owns both the Playhouse Theater in the West End and the Hudson.
That would be nice. Hopefully, it will be open by late fall! I am hoping to see it in London this summer so it will be nice to prepare before it gets a big red carpet opening in NYC.
