Love this idea and glad she went for a smaller venue.

Produced by Michael Cohl of SPIDER-MAN fame!!!

Is it still 3 hours long?

Appears she’s only doing ~5 perfs a week.

Whoa, 3 hours? Even Springsteen wasn’t that long with his solo show.

Did anyone here see Etheridge as St. Jimmy in American Idiot?

It was 3 intermissionless hours, to boot.

Did this sell out Off Bway? Im an Etheridge fan but I have to admit disappointment that the best Bway theater will be tied up with this for 3 months.

Melissa says in this article that the Broadway version of My Window will be about 30 minutes shorter.

That article says that off Broadway they did have an intermission in the 3 hour runtime?

Do we know if they'd be trying to include this in award consideration?

The first night or two of the New World Stages run did not have an intermission, but one was added for all remaining performances.

I seem to remember seeing on TDF or papering sites but I could be misremembering.

Unlikely that it would be eligible in any competitive Tony categories. It's a special theatrical event, so could go the way of Springsteen (a special award) if they REALLY want to honor it.

Makes sense. My first thought when this was announced off-Broadway was that it was preparing for a Broadway run. After hearing the run time I thought they were "throwing it all out there" to decide what to cut and trim the show down for its Broadway run. I did not get to see it but I hope to see it on Broadway.

Seems they are working to cut out about 30 minutes from the show (so 2-1/2 hours including intermission).

***Sorry, this was already reported above through the NYT article***
