Does anyone know Adrianna Hicks last day?

I know she's slated to star in 'Some Like It Hot' but haven't heard when rehearsals start for that.

Unrelated - but at last night's performance Nicole Kyoung-Mi Lambert replaced Adrianna halfway through the show. Hope she's OK!

Nicole Kyoung-Mi Lambert was also on when we saw the show Sunday night (5/22).

How does a mid show switch work at Six when all of them barely leave the stage? Is an announcement made too?

Adrianna was back tonight.

When Adrianna was replaced mid-show, the show was stopped for less than 10 minutes to allow time for the replacement to quickly get in costume and makeup. And then it picked right up again like it had never stopped. Yes a brief announcement was made at that time. The audience was very appreciative of the unexpected replacement. (This has only happened one time before I believe with a different queen).


The alternates are freaking amazing. They each pop in and out of multiple roles…sometimes with notice, sometimes without. Once I remember on a two show day, two alternates each played two different roles on the same day. They are basically awesome."

There have been other moments where one actress will "dance off stage" in the middle of the number and dance right back on after her problem is taken care of - the audience may not even notice. Maybe a mike or costume problem for example? Something easily fixable.

In this particular case, it was stopped after Jane Seymour's song...during which when the other actresses  just quietly remain in the background while Abby was singing. But instead of 5 actresses being in the background, Adrianna went off stage (I was there and I didn't even notice)and then when Abby was finished singing, instead of moving forward with the show. An announcement was made for all cast and musicians to leave the stage followed by a brief explanation that there would be a cast change and we would resume shortly.

What I find personally humorous is that as the lights then come up, pretty much the entire audience check their phones immediately, like in the 15-20 minutes since they had to turn them off when the show started, they might have missed some really important message and cannot wait to check..LOL How in the world did we all survive before cell phones?????
