I used to really love it and I'll watch it sometimes, but I like the earlier seasons best. I also have the soundtrack with all the old '50s music! It's a great listen for a great show. And if you like to read, the books that the show is based on,are excellent. The first one is my favorite. They're available at Barnes and Noble, and on Amazon.
@Dollypop, no you are not, and yes, it was!! It's weird; the first nine seasons are on Netflix (for those who don't know, it is a series based, created, and shot for the last 11 years in Britain), yet S.10 and S.11 are airing here on PBS. I don't have cable anymore but it's on the PBS app!
The annoying part is, after that horrific train crash episode...they seem to be waiting 2 weeks to air Ep. 8 so we find out what happens...and that is the final episode of the season! Kind of a bummer since most other seasons have had 10 episodes...PLUS a Christmas episode! (The one last year with Nurse Crane living out her dream on the trapeze when the circus came to town was one of the loveliest, dreamiest scenes/storylines in TV.) The final ep of the season is supposed to air on May 8 in the states, so it will be on the PBS app after that.

Hm. "Nurse Crane on the trapeze" may have been 2 years ago, but I seem to recall it only being available to watch last season on the PBS app sometime in Fall/Winter 2021. Anyway, the main point of my post was that it was strange, this year (S.11), that they had a two-week interval between ep 7 and the finale episode to wrap up the train crash. Helen George left temporarily because she had a baby, so we didn't see her in the finale, but thank goodness Nurse Crane was back! I suspect they'll all be back for S.12 but I don't think they've begun shooting yet in the UK.
