He had played Claude and others on Broadway for over five years - seven including workshops and tryouts. I also got to meet him after I saw Come From Away back in July 2017; he is super kind. Congrats on an incredible run!

He's wonderful! I plan to be there for his final show.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Hard to imagine the show without him. He'll be missed!
"This table, he is over one hundred years old. If I could, I would take an old gramophone needle and run it along the surface of the wood. To hear the music of the voices. All that was said." - Doug Wright, I Am My Own Wife

Yes, American actor, Gene Weygandt will be joining the Broadway company direct from Australia. I’m pretty sure he’s noted for playing the wizard in Wicked the most out of any other actor.

WOW - it’s been almost 17 years since he was last on Broadway! Welcome back, Gene!

So emotional tonight. Haven't cried this much watching this show since the first time I saw it. Joel got a strong, long applause at the start of the show and he was immediately crying. Prayer was extra emotional which saw several cast members crying. Tons of extra energy during Screech In. Crying again during Somewhere and then the entire finale had the entire cast and band members crying. During the Screech In Encore, the entire cast came back on stage and devoted it solely to Joel. The original mayor has now left the show. Hearing the show is in good hands with Gene!
