Broadway: For Good from Wicked ....I love the lyrics

Broadway: 'Gimme Gimme' (sorry BB..)

Non-Broadway: 'Donna and Blitzen' by Badly Drawn Boy

---

B-way girl, I can tell you why you like Marilyn Manson. You are going through that 'phase'. Don't worry, EVERYONE has been there. You'll grow out of it and eventually hate him.

broadway - do ya wanna go to heaven - big river - i think it represents a sentiment sadly lacking in our current morally bankrupt culture.

other - code blue - tsol - simply the best song about necrophilia that there is out there, and a damn catchy melody.

I just had an Italian night with a plate of ravioli and Moonstruck and For Roseanna, so I'm in a very Italian/Puccini mood right now.

Mario Fragoulis' recording of "Luna Rossa" is stuck in my head.

Bulldog--I almost "If Ever I Would Leave You" but I wanted to something my guys had sung. Gethsemane was the first thing that came to mind.

Now I'm thinking "Love Changes Everything" should have been my choice.

Broadway: I'd Give My Life For You - Miss Saigon

Non Broadway: Jezebel - 10,000 Maniacs. That song is perfection, particularly the last lines:

Oh how I wish that we never had tried
to be man and his wife, to weave our lives
into a blindfold over both our eyes.
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

Broadway- "I'm The Greatest Star" from Funny Girl. A true anthem.
Non Broadway- "Ne Me Quitte Pas" by Jacques Brel - the most beautiful, heartbreaking song ever.
"Years from now, when you talk about this - And you will - Be kind. "

This is hard...so many great songs and this could change in the next minute, but
Broadway: Stars (Les Mis) I remember someone singing it in a concert when I was in school and saying to myself I just had to see this musical. It just struck me.
Off-Broadway: You Never Give Me Your Money (the Beatles) I always say, how can you go wrong with the Beatles? or The Way I Am (Eminem) so sad

"You Should Be Loved" - Side Show, because I love the lyrics and the song itself is very powerful. It's like 2 notes above my range, but I want to sing it SO badly once I increase my vocal range. So close yet so far!

"Bittersweet Symphony" I love this song because it's very classical-sounding, but it has a modern twist to it. Plus its in one of my favorite movies, Cruel Intentions!

Non-Broadway (currently): Toxic ~ Britney Spears
"You're every gay man's wet dream!" ~ MA

just like everyone else, mine change all the time too, well, mostly just for Broadway

Ragtime from, uh duh, Ragtime - don't know why, just struck me, and it's the best song from the show to perform

Hey Jude by The Beatles - gotta love The Beatles!! (I hope Micheal Jackson goes bankrupt and has to give Paul McCartney his music back!!)

Broadway, this is very, very hard but this time I'll say Don't Rain On My Parade (Funny Girl), and non Broadway I was going to say Waters of March (Antonio Carlos Jobim) but reading Broadway Bulldog's choice (You Go To My Head), I'm almost swayed, hmmm no I'll stick with Waters of March.
