Hello,

Is there any audio or video footage of George Chakiris in the first U.S. National Tour of Company? Thanks!

That’s Julie Wilson from the tour... Vivian only played it on Broadway ☺️
Sadly I’ve never come across any audio or video of Mr Chakiris... the only audio from the tour I know of is Gary Krawford, the final replacement...

I think it's actually Marti Stevens as Sarah.

I saw the tour in its opening engagement in Los Angeles as a preteen. I was already obsessed with the cast recording and thrilled that so many from the original Broadway cast (Stritch, Howland, McKechnie, Myers, etc.) had joined the tour. Chakiris, unfortunately, wasn't that great in the part. He was a bit thin vocally and really couldn't project the combination of charisma and mystery that makes Bobby so captivating. Honestly, not that different from Katrina Lenk's problems.

Vivian Blaine played JoAnn on Broadway and in a Music Fair tour with George Maharis

The character’s name is Joanne not JoAnn.

That's disappointing to hear. I also just saw the show with Katrina Lenk last week and thought she acted it well but vocally left a lot to be desired, not as good as when I saw Rosalie Craig.
