They love him. Even with the controversy surrounding him, I feel like he'll still get in. (Especially considering that even though the show is a disaster, the costumes are incredible). People won't be happy about it and will probably try to cancel the Tonys over it, but I have a feeling he still gets in regardless.
The only nomination I'm crossing my fingers for is Erin Davie. I never thought anyone could make me feel for Camila, but she's fantastic. But I still am doubtful since the show's reputation and how early before nominations the shows is closing.
Yeah, its best bets for nods are Costumes and de Waal, but neither are things I would put money on getting nominations. It is not a show with a ton of industry enthusiasm around it, and you need that for nominations. A flop with industry support can still receive a nod or two.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
Plus there’s no financial incentive to nominate the show. It’ll be long-closed by the time the Tonys happen and probably won’t be touring. If it does announce a tour, that might help its chances.

You can’t really help yourself, can you? You hated the show and so you need to go into every thread with people who enjoyed it, and trash it and talk down to them. It’s rather pathetic. You should get a hobby.
