Im seeing AMERICAN UTOPIA tomorrow at 5pm. I havent been to the St. James Theatre since the end of Something Rottens run (roughly late 2016), and I know the theatre has been renovated since then. As Ive posted elsewhere, Im a tall, wide man and I was wondering how the seats and vantages are since the remodel.

It didn't seem renovated to me at all either. But, if you are tall or large or both I always recommend an aisle seat if you can swing it. Decent leg room there (not the best) but the aisle gives you the option of a little more breathing room on that front.

I believe the St. James was renovated before Frozen took up the space."
It was my understanding that that reno was to the stage and behind it to make room for Disney's large production both back- and on- stage. I don't believe the auditorium or seats were redone at that time.
