She'll have a career. It just won't be the one she expected to have. It looks like she's trying to become the next Candace Cameron Bure of the Hallmark Movie genre. If she does a Hallmark movie once or twice a year, she'll do just fine financially

In April she will play Maria in The Sound of Music in Trieste. It's a five day run in a small city in Italy, hardly a project she would have joined before Covid & the vaccine situation

And Trieste was most recently in the news yesterday for...

Center of Italy’s Anti-Vaccine Protests Is Now a Covid Hot Spot

She'll fit right in.

Some strong praise for the show over at theatreboard.co.uk.  Seems it was less concert and more fully staged like some Encores productions.

It s fantastics beyond words. I watched the 2nd night and due to the high priase from all twitters and celebrities who were there on 1st night got my expectation so high up. I was like, shoot i shouldnt have read all the hype now, you know when you are expect something so high it's hard to impress yet.... I still underestimate how good the 'event' was.

It was not even a concert, call it a semi-full on production will be more suitable. And they didnt just stand there and read dialogs. They act on it.

So many famous people attenting and the audience keep pointing at during the break.

For those interested, that production has been suspended. https://www.ilrossetti.it/it/spettacoli/the-sound-of-music-3023

Poor lil’ anti-vaxxer just can’t catch a break. I’m sure there’s some county fair in the Midwest she can sing a few tunes at while people try to catch pigs in the mud.

You people are cold! In this business one person's train wreck is another's opportunity.

Her husband briefly posted an Instagram story featuring a rant by English comedian Russell Brand.

He is not one you would expect a devout Christian to be around. Drugs, sex, promiscuity.

Brand has become a beacon for anti-vaxxers with his advocacy of the idea that this virus was not naturally created, but was a product of the Wuhan Institute of Virology. This conspiracy theory is more plausible than most. What did the Wuhan Lab and the site of the first outbreak of the disease have in common:

Wuhan.

Bret Stephens wrote in the New York Times last year:

If it turns out that the Covid pandemic was caused by a leak from a lab in Wuhan, China, it will rank among the greatest scientific scandals in history: dangerous research, possibly involving ethically dubious techniques that make viruses more dangerous, carried out in a poorly safeguarded facility, thuggishly covered up by a regime more interested in propaganda than human life, catastrophic for the entire world.

I was wondering if her husband had gotten religion over a possible coverup about the origins of the virus and information still being withheld from the public, and he was driving the car carrying Laura and her career over the cliff while she, as dutiful wife, went along.
