I'm just curious what you guys think.

Of the talent to come out of Disney she was the most polished BFA tastic. You'd think she would be such a good fit for leads in big shows.

I’m a fan of hers and too have wondered why she didn’t get more roles on Broadway.

There is a BWW thread about her and this topic I can try and search for to post here...... but maybe it was the “times” but there were some pretty horrible things said by some posters and some transphobic stuff as well if I recall correctly....

Because that's showbiz. There's no "reason" why van der Pol, or anybody else, doesn't become a star. The same question can be asked of dozens and dozens of other performers, who are all talented and give good performances.

While I don't know if you're serious,  there are many up-and-coming performers who come to believe they are more valuable than they are. And they find out very quickly they aren't.

She's great! I agree she's underrated, and under-booked. I had hoped that the Raven reboot would bring her back into the public eye in a significant way, but I don't know if anyone actually watched that show.

Not to completely thread-jack, but if you ever wanted to hear her sing a significant amount of Into the Woods, my boyfriend got this Cameo for me and it is... everything (as are all of her Cameos, seriously please book her).

That was bananas. I loved it. It had a very wacky Liza kind of energy. I didn't realize her soprano was that high and that she can sing both brassy and sweet/warm.

I always liked Annaliese ever since she said "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" was "untouchable", and then was Belle. After seeing that Cameo, wow, she, wow, she has a really good soprano voice and she sang the hell out of "Happy Birthday". Like, amazingly. I didn't know that song could sound like that, lol.
