Controversy aside - Sherry Pie is next level perfection on pretty much all fronts. Comparing Sherry to Tina doesn't make sense because Sherry never once showed up on a runway looking anything less than a hundred thousand doolas while Tina hasn't yet come close to that. Yes we're only two episodes in and maybe she's gonna surprise us. I doubt she will but y'never know.

It doesn’t look cheap to me. The tin man look was well made and tailored and thought out.

Lux’s dress had bumps all over the waistline and didn’t fit her body at all. She should have looked snatched and instead looked frumpy. But to each their own!

I thought the tin man outfit was well crafted and took some imagination to recreate.  I just don't like the person wearing the clothes.  I agree with you, that Olivia's outfit had some issues.  But in this case,  I  like the person wearing them.  Two episodes in and I haven't heard her say one nasty thing about another queen.  She also reminds me of a young Tiffany Areagus.

ArtMan, I think your senses of humor just don’t align. I didn’t for one second think she actually thought the girl was a Mole. I think she had her eye winked at the camera the whole time.

I don’t want to watch a reality show where everyone’s nice. That’s boring TV. Tina is at least giving me some personality!
I don’t buy Olivia’s all smiles “I don’t know what I’m doing” gimmick.

But again, to each their own.

I can only conclude that the tops and bottoms are being assessed this week completely regardless of the outfits they wore on the runway. Olivia and Symone are still my favorites based on star appeal (that smile! those cheeks!) but I gotta admit their looks for the dance number were both among the worst. (Symone's blue bikini with dust-ruffle skirt was appalling.) I hated Olivia's seafoam gown and Symone's boxing approach was novel but really just a satin robe, corset and shorts. Blah. For me Elliott won the mini-challenge with the red 30's Bonnie & Clyde number and that awesome 1890's dominatrix look. A shame she didn't give the same attention to that hideous eyesore of a lamé skating dress. Yuck. Gottmik has spent a bundle on outfits but I'm waiting to see one I love.

The sooner Kandy and Tina are both chopped the happier I'll be.

Well, that was okay. I liked having the voted off queen getting moved over to the winning queens, that was kind of tasty.  Otherwise, it was business as usual.  

I thought Kandy Muse should have gone the hell home.  Her rap was incomprehensible, and her looks were cheesy.  She's useless.

Nothing about this episode- aside from the fantastic lip sync- landed for me. As a way to split the girls into two groups, this whole Porkchop Loading Dock thing seems extremely mean spirited and contrived- and manages to undercut both groups, as I spent the entire episode wondering about the queens in the other group. The "drama" when Elliott entered the work room seemed entirely manufactured. The handprints of the producers are all over the place.

Well, I think they do a good job of being like “it’s a tv show.” So yeah they’re gonna produce the crap out of it. Hence the Emmys.

Can anyone explain the runaway theme? LaMay? Is it a designer? A look?

Agree.  Without giving anything away, has this ever happened before including all of the other franchises?  Now that I have seen the Porkchop group out of drag, Joey Jay is quite handsome and has a tight muscular body.

What a great episode! I guess it just shows that first group of girls is just...meh (at least together). This group tonight is SO strong and nice (something that really does play well on this show) to each other. I love them all but I think my favs are Rosé and Joey and Tamisha. I’m finally excited for this season!

I really enjoyed it too and really enjoy them all (with some reservation for Rose - the girls who sing always make me a little trepidatious in always having to prove to us she can sing).

But I’m def excited for them all to mix!

Also Nicole Buyer should be a permanent judge! She has a podcast dedicated to the show. She’s hilarious!

I love Nicole. I didn’t know about the podcast - I must find it!!

You can also tell the judges had a better time with this group based on their reactions and interactions with each other.
