The end of movie theaters?
I know that sounds hyperbolic but this has me worried about the future of going to the movies.
Unlike live events like Broadway, concerts etc, the moviegoing experience is more easily replicated in the home.
Going to the movies is one of the things I have missed the most during the pandemic. I really hope they can bounce back.

Fyi, there is a workaround to this where you can cast HBOMax onto you tv from the app on your phone. Not the same thing, but it works

Not sure if this is what you're talking about, but AirPlay is now available for Roku, so casting from Apple devices is finally possible. I bought an Amazon Fire Stick on Cyber Monday so that I'd be able to see upcoming content in 4K, but I've also used the AirPlay app, and it works well.
Correction: It looks like AirPlay is only available on 4K Roku devices. I have a 4K TCL Roku TV.

I have been watching HBOMax on my iPad which is fine, I just prefer watching movies on my tv.
The Flight Attendant is kind of fun BTW and co stars one of the most handsome men on the planet.
