I NEED TO GET THIS OFF MY CHEST, BONNIE AND CLYDE DOESN'T GET ENOUGH LOVE! THE SOUNDTRACK IS PHENOMENAL. THE MELODIES, UGGHHHHHH, AMAZEBALLS!!!

I just hope Tiktok or something breathes life into the non-existent fanbase, possibly bringing it back to broadway.

No, Frank, you won't have a hit on Broadway. Give it up.

Lol, but seriously, Frank needs to stop with the seriousness in his shows. I hope he just sticks to song writing with others/someone rewrites the show to be more light-hearted like Tuck Everlasting/Heathers.

I guess I should've put, "Underrated OSTs" instead"

(Kind of disappointed their hasn't been a "Tuck Everlasting" RuPaul parody)

I really liked that show, I even got the entire row to myself that cold ass December. The CAST RECORDING is excellent, listen to it all the time. I like Frank Wildhorn even though he is wildly mocked around here.

Where does the hate root from? Did he do something awful? It feels undeserved.

I couldn't tell you, he seems like a great, talented man. His work is not for everybody but what people have said on here about him? Damn.

I don't mind some of his music, but the structure of his shows goes from passable to dismal.

After so many shows on Broadway, not a single one has turned a profit. Producers surely like to rik their monies on him.

Yeah, I can see what you mean, from what I've seen, his shows can't really maintain a rhythm throughout and often the staging is bare-bone/characters don't seem fully fleshed out. He really needs to diversify movement, lighting, and character motivation.

Seems like a lot of shows have to do with escaping where/who you are.

Looking further into this, it also seems like he has a hard on for men singing slow about how much they could improve the world.frown

I'd be curious how much they eventually make back in the end, as we often hear about how successful foreign language productions of his shows end up being.

Did you know that every day Mexican gays cross our borders and unplug our brain-dead ladies?

Regardless, Broadway is obviously not for his work. He should aim for regional or international productions. Broadway is not for everyone.

It gets just as much "love" as it earned. Did many who saw it like/love it? Sure. But many didnt....and more importantly, it just didn't stir the interest of theater goers.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Frank Wildhord songs sound like fake musical numbers from 30 Rock. They're the equivalent of furniture you can buy at Target - functional, but does it belong on Broadway?

Yes . Sadly there is no Broadway for the foreseeable future so your statement is a moot point. Have all his shows on CD's and enjoy them immensely. To each his own I gueSor I guess. Wethought Mormon was overrated as did many in the audience the day we saw it. No idea why it is so popular. Got thru 10 minutes of a Hamilton video which my wife and I did not care for. Loved In the Heights but Hamilton did nothing for us.Sorry

By the way of you are a fan go to You Tube. Entire concept album of his take of Cyrano on there with Sills as Cyrano and Eder as Roxanne. Another is a 20 minute snippet from a 1995 musical he did on Marco Polo. Enjoy

I just hope Tiktok or something breathes life into the non-existent fanbase, possibly bringing it back to broadway.

If all of Jeremy's fan-girls kicked in a nickel, Bonnie and Clyde, could buy they theater it reopened in.

Shot a video at 54 Below (they encourage it) of Jeremy and Betsy Wolfe singing "Suddenly Seymour" and fourteen hours later it had over 4000 views. Video put up at the same time of Betsy solo had 160.

Broadway is full of thirsty fans, they would probably thirst after a wooden plank if it had facial hair.

These thirsty fans sure were nowhere to be found during the run of the show.

As far as hygiene in theatres, I much prefer underatted shows to those with too many rats.
