Doesn't work for me. Maybe he'll improve with time? Carrey stumbles too much with the cue cards. His comedic timing isn't the best (yet?), but he's got a hard act to follow after Baldwin's Trump, possibly making any bumble sick out like a sore thumb. My biggest issue (the one that turns me off the most) is Carrey's choice to portray Biden by miming the rapid-fire shooting of a gun, blowing on the barrel, then holstering the gun. He's done that a couple of times, now. I just can't find any tiny element of truth in that random reach at humor that could make me laugh.
I think he's doing well. He's got his mannerisms down and that smirk, too. He just goes over a bit with the typical Jim Carrey overacting.
