Mr Roxy said: "If the situation were reversed Schumer would be leading the charge for a,recount. It is politics folks

Living in NYC we have a clueless Mayor and a governor who acts like an emperor. He has singlehandedly destroyed the NYC restaurant industry and is,responsible for thousands of nursing home deaths. Dems could run a tree trunk and republicans Abe Lincoln and the tree trunk would win. Another poster talked about the cult of Trump. I can think of another cult

I give Biden a year or less. He will either leave for health reasons or dems will force him out if he starts being less progressive . Than the fun starts with President Harris. Midterms than should be quite different
"

I also gave you a year on BWW, and yet, here we are.

Honeybuns, how many times have I told you. You DO NOT live in New York City. Do I need to give you another geography lesson? K. Long Island is NOT a part of New York City.

Yes, Roxy, that's what political parties do....oust their own president. Insert eye roll.

But let's say you ARE right....President Harris sounds DELIGHTFUL.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Looks like the Democrats are going to keep Nevada, once the big Las Vegas metro votes are counted.

Arizona looks like it is going blue, as the big metro area need to be counted.

270 votes

On top of that Pennsylvania and Georgia both looks to be flipped.

You guys look like you have a 46th President, congratulations.

Roxy does have his own mayor. However, Cuomo is the governor of the state of New York. So it can make sense that roxy getting bent out of shape due to whatever Cuomo has done. But, makes little sense regarding his issues with NYC and its mayor.

It does look like Biden is on track to win and thank God for that. The senate is kinda sorta maybe still in play, with the Georgia run off races in January, but we need to make Damn sure turnout is even higher for those than it was for this. A Biden presidency with a Republican senate is still better than a trump presidency but we need those two seats so Harris can be the tie breaker.

Look, I felt sick for a good part of last night until people on tv that I actually trust started laughing and saying this was Biden’s race to lose and he’s going to win. I think any (ok, most) of us would have given anything to be where we are tonight , four years ago the day after the election. It’s just been a looooooong four years and the repudiation of trump wasn’t what we hoped it would be for our country. But a win is a win. And Tish James is sitting in her office this week prepping all those subpoenas to send out to trump, Jr., Daddy’s princess and the “special” one and it’s gonna be glorious to see those lawsuits start up ASAP. I hope I get jury duty for one.

As usual my sentiments mirror Jordon to a t. I was ready to eat an entire pie last night until several pundits who have been around forever seemed to have the inside track on absentee ballots.

The shocking thing is how many people voted for a Trump after all we have been through. Sometimes I feel like I am living in an alternative universe. Maybe I am and it’s called Manhattan.

Yessss. Things just feel better here, yeah?

People wonder why anyone could vote for Trump knowing all the abhorrent things he's done. The thing is, white men don't love him despite of all those horrible things, it's BECAUSE of all those horrible things. He breaks laws, sexually assaults women, is openly racist and they admire him. He's their equivalent of the cool kid in school. It's wild and I'll be glad when they go back into their little holes. Fu*ck em.

Until they officially declare him the winner, I can't stop being anxious about it. I drank two Manhattans last night because it wasn't looking good. Tonight, it will just be ice cream with Zanax chaser.  Election Night Stuff

If it was only white men voting for him this election would have been over on Tuesday night and we could have moved on from this disaster that's been Trump...

Arizona & Georgia are extremely close. The majority of votes left to be counted are from the big cities. Nevada is taking their time. It is looking more & more likely that Biden will win, the waiting is what's keeping everyone on the edge. The sad part is that #45 isn't leaving without a fight. They may have to drag him out of the White House on January 20.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

He’s about to win Pennsylvania and that will be it.

I hope Tish James issues her first subpoenas to the Trump family the second Biden finishes his victory speech.

I mean I hope so....but considering how close it is and that GA and PA are getting close-ish to being done counting...I'm hedging on NV only because it's already leaning blue and it's predicted to stay that way, therefore giving Biden the exact 6 electoral votes he needs to win. But a surprise turn in PA and GA would thrill me. Or even NC, but that's another story, I'm not relying on it.

That said...while no official source can project a winner yet, I do believe it'll be Biden BUT....just barely. That actually makes me nervous because we all know orange face will barrel on in and contest that. Granted, I knew if Biden does win, it wouldn't be the landslide that was hoped for just so there wouldn't even be a reason to contest it at all. But here we are...I am curious as to how much of the registered voting population DID end up voting because this leads me my next point that noticed this morning...

I checked third party numbers in a few places and all I can say is YIKES. Considering half the voting population didn't vote 4 years ago, I've stood by saying that the third party voters were not the real culprit of Hilary's loss. It was non voters. But this year with record turnout (still want to know full numbers however), those 60,000 or so third party votes in GA would absolutely have turned it blue by now...UGH. THIS is why we begged to not vote third party.

I was referring to white male behavior and their sense of entitlement that they think they have in America.

People should stop assuming Biden won Arizona. He did not. The NYT and CNN have not called it for him and they have been stuck on 86% counted for the last 16 hours. I hope they update it soon. They are all working so hard for weeks now. Those people are heroes in my book.

Trump is scheduled to screech from the White House tonight (Thursday) at 6:30 p.m. ET.

UPDATE:  And, the Biden Team is preparing for Joe Biden to possibly address the nation from Wilmington, Delaware, tonight.  As a personal aside......I visited a former Navy shipmate at his home in Wilmington some many years ago.  It's a beautiful city.

I just get a bit nervous when Joe has said that he is sure he won. I kinda wish he would just say they feel good about it and we will see how it plays out. I know it is politics but this is so very close.

Biden spoke earlier. If he speaks again tonight, I just hope it isn't when Annaleigh Ashford's new sitcom premier's at 8:30. I need a good laugh right now.

Biden has Georgia and the commonwealth of Penn, if the count is down to postal votes alone he could take North Carolina. Nevada looks good, but not certain. Arizona will stay Republican, as will Alaska.

Happy Friday!

It appears that US Senate control will be determined by the two races in Georgia which are headed for runoff. So, I'm going to need Stacey Abrams to study war some more. The woman has spent years doing the heavy lifting required to help Georgia flip from red to blue.

Amazing all of Trump leads vanished. Kind of gives credence to claims of bundles of votes coming in at 3 in the morning. Ditto for recent story of a postal worker arrested at a northern border with bundles of ballots Imagine if this happened to the dems the uproar from Schumer. Now all of a sudden the GOP holding the Senate is now possibly not true. . Just had a sour feeling in my stomach that AOC and company are now celebrating Socialism .

Sigh.  1 million Pennsylvania mail in ballots were received legally PRIOR TO ELECTION DAY.  The Republicans in the state of Pennsylvania would not allow the votes to be counted prior to election day.  The in person ballots were reported first and then the mail in as they were counted.  It's not rocket science - although perhaps Chicago/Queens/IndianaDannyD with all his science degrees would like to dispute.

It's the same in other states.  Reading is a skill set that would help you learn these things.
