Thank you for sharing this link but as it usually goes with these types of hosts they ask a question and then proceed to talk over the guest and never let them finish any sentence let alone a train of thought...so friggin' irritating.

I stuck with it because I've always been a fan of Lainie's. My mother owned several of her albums and played them constantly. I loved her voice and I found her so beautiful (boy crush) and I would stare at this particular album cover as the album played...

This was the poster and original artwork for the musical, SEESAW before Michael Bennett took over choreography and direction and unceremoniously fired Lainie Kazan and replaced her with Michele Lee.

Stepping a little to the side re Lanie K. As a young theatre queen I just loved her voice and when she announced a concert in Melbourne[at the dreadful rock & fight venue Festival Hall[usually, though I did see Barry Manilow mime most of his show there] I rushed and bought tickets for myself and friends.

Looking around from our Front Row Seats[where she would notice us !!!], we chatted, 'where is everyone'?

I think there were more on stage than in the audience.

Lanie did her first number, then looked out and said-'we're gonna do the whole show so I'm gonna wait till you all move down the front and let's all have a party'.

One of those nights to remember, always. She delivered and we worshipped.
