Any dates for when the episodes are released?

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

Hopefully early Dec (Covid has held us up recording some studio sections, but also meant we got a lot more interviews than we probably would in a normal year!)

I was interviewed for this. I'm not on the teaser, but as I had seen the original Broadway Carrie, I was asked to participate. I'm curious to see what they've done with my and all the other interviews.

Thanks and enjoy

This podcast is FANTASTIC! They have interviews with cast members from the original workshop, the OBC, the creative team, etc. It is so much fun to hear all about the creation of this infamous show and to hear all of the backstage antics.

Give them a listen!

Sorry for sounding lazy but I assume it covers new ground not spoken about in the recent Carrie reunion with Seth R?

Thanks for all the nice comments!

@qolbinau, it's a 10 part series so goes into a lot more depth using audio from cast interviews and others associated with the show, not just the OBC but the workshop, revival, subsequent productions as well as fans etc. If you like the Carrie story we think you'd like the podcast!

Thanks yes listening now - seems great so far this will certainly be the definitive documentary record/history of the show. So much effort has gone into this!

The next episode is out - I'm loving it! I can't help but feel if they ever made a movie or TV series out of this saga it would be far more entertaining than the show itself.

Loving this podcast.  Absolutely loving it.  Reminds me of the Broadway Backstory podcasts from 2016 to 2018.

Every week I love getting the notification that there is a new episode. A few juicy details about what it is like to work with Betty Buckley this week.

I absolutely love hearing the cast chat away like it was the greatest moment of their lives. They obviously had a lot of love for the experience and all the memories they have of it.
