From the Lincoln Project -- any idea who the singer is? I bet Patti would have done it if she was asked.

No mention of it in the comments. Someone tried to say it was Patti ...as if her voice isn't iconic and easily identifiable. Definitely not Patti singing.

Well it is obviously not Patti, but damn this video is terrific.  Hope it gets lots of air time.  I already shared the link with over a dozen people.

I've seen people guess it's Laura Benanti, but I'm not sure.

It's too old a voice to be Benanti.  It sounds a bit Beth Leavel-ish?

I don't know why, but I hear Beth Fowler.

I came to BWW because people on the Lincoln Project twitter post were arguing about who the singer is, and I knew we'd have the expertise here to figure it out! I agree that it doesn't sound like Patti. I could see Laura Benanti. Someone on Twitter also suggested Lisa Howard, which also sounds plausible to me.

Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

I don't know if this is all of their ads, but if there's a chance the Covita ad ends up on iSpot, they may name the performer.

To me, it sounds like Loretta Swit.

I was also thinking Beth Leavel.

Love this! It sounds like something Randy Rainbow would write. I wonder if Patti has seen it yet? I wish she had sung it,dripping with sarcasm, like she does "Ladies Who Lunch".
