I love her, I love this and I'm blasting the EVITA OBC today in her honor. I've been remiss in getting her solo albums - does anyone have a favorite I should start with?

Ironically, he has said his favorite musical is EVITA.

But not here dear, IS THAT CLEAR DEAR?"

she really is queen

as for her solo work, i was always a big fan of her live album from the early 90s when she was about to leave LA for London to work on Sunset Boulevard, as well as Heatwave (she sings the songs of Berlin). Lady With the Torch is also a very enjoyable collection of standards.

I second the love for her LIVE! album. Be CERTAIN to get the 2-disc version. I absolutely adore "Heaven" which closes her set. I believe I saw the hi-res FLAC for purchase recently on Tidal Music. Worth every penny.

But, is there really such thing as a bad Patti album???
