Sorry if this isn't the appropriate board for this but since I'm not directly selling I wasn't sure where to ask.

My wife and I have been laid off since April and been just barely making it but now need to unload a few of our beloved Broadway items.

We have a signed show worn cast from Dear Evan Hansen (1st National Tour Company.) I don't want to sell it but obviously don't have much of a choice at this point. Any suggestions on how to price this?

Thank you in advance!

eBay is your best bet to get an idea.

Keep in mind, anyone can price anything at whatever price they want so just because you see something at a ridiculously high price, doesn’t mean they’ll get that. I can list a CATS Playbill for $750 doesn’t mean that’s what they are going for.

Also, it’s a tour item which has lesser value than a Broadway item.

I figured eBay, just didn't have an idea since I couldn't find any listings for the cast itself. I'm definitely not wanting to try and get more than it's worth, just trying to get anything to help cover some bills that are piling up. Appreciate the advice.

It's worth whatever price a buyer is willing to pay at that point in time. I don't know how much DEH worn cast goes for nowadays but I recall in fall 2017 Bway flea market DEH table they were selling for $500 each (no autographs.) During the BCEFA collection period in fall 2017, DEH auctioned off the cast worn by Ben Platt (plus autographed by cast) to the audience after the performance and I recall the bids went up to $5k-$10k range.

It's also worth keeping in mind that many people are willing to spend more on an item like this when the proceeds are going to charity than they necessarily will be when it's a private seller.

If it is isn't the original cast, and there wasn't a big star involved, you'll be lucky to get $100 for it.

Pick a high price, also choose the lowest price that you are willing to part with it. List it at the high price, but allow buyers to make an offer. If it sells for the high price, great. If offers come in lower than your ideal low price, conter-offer, or reject the offer.
