Anyone else bored to death of the endless Hamilton articles on here? I get it, we have no theatre happening at the moment, but give us a break already.
I get if you're bored that there's so much of it just in the percentage of headlines that you can't avoid reading even that part, but you can always choose to give your clicks to the non-Hamilton articles if you feel like doing something productive. BWW knows the ad revenue and clicks are going to come on the wave of the Disney+ release and are acting accordingly.

Oh I’m sorry. Did you really want me to reply with something like “get over it and learn to scroll past posts that you don’t want to open on a message board that nobody is forcing you to visit?”
Because I can go more in depth with that if you need something more “scintillating”.

Yes it's a lot....no different here then any other theater site. Its something to be excited about and about the only thing to be looking forward to. I dont read 80% of what has been posted - so I cant be bored by what I don't read. They have SOMETHING to wrote about, good for them. Hard to stay relevant about a field that's at a standstill.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
They are all over TV also. Especially ABC (Of course). And there are ads on a lot of other pages also. Even saw a commercial during the BET Awards on CBS. It is a bit much.

Do you remember the 2015/2016 season, when there were like a dozen threads about Hamilton everyday on the first page of BroadwayBoard? The "movie" will bring new fans so we'll probably have loads of Hamilton threads in the near future. But that too will pass, and then we'll be free to go back creating a new thread every day about when will Broadway reopen.
I will give this site a miss for 2 weeks and hope when I return, something else is being discussed in their articles rather than ‘Lin reveals what socks he wore on May 15th to the theatre for the evening performance of Hamilton’

Exactly. It's like summer 2015 all over again, but I don't mind. With a highly anticipated Disney+ release tomorrow, one could say we are approaching the eye of the hurricane. I'm not blaming anyone for nonstop Hamiltonian coverage either.

You know what bores me? Unnecessary threads."
You missthe point my love, there is NOTHING on here to read except Hamilton posts.”
Are we on the same site?
"
Did y’all miss this post? And also... same. I feel like I’m on a different site than you. Besides the embedded commercial on nearly every page that I can easily scroll past, I’ve seen the normal amount of articles about non-Hamilton things. That’s especially impressive given there’s no live theatre happening anywhere in the world right now.

Thank you! Sometimes I feel like I'm taking crazy pills on here.
