OK I'll bite. (Surprised that no one has commented so far on either thread.) Am I the only one who's grateful for the opportunity to finally read this book that I've been meaning to get to for five years? I'll have more questions as we approach the end of the book (specifically regarding what's going to be covered in Riedel's follow-up being released later this year, and if the current shutdown will be mentioned at all.... I'm wondering how he publishes a new book called "Singular Sensation: The Triumph of Broadway" in the midst of the most devastating event to hit the theater world in our lifetime). But with regard to the story so far, I'd be curious what HE was most surprised by in the research and reporting of chapters 1 through 3, and 4 through 6.
