Does anyone know if TheaterWorks production of Next To Normal is still streaming tonight at 8pm on FILMED ON STAGE? I can't find any info about it!

It started streaming Friday at 8 pm, and it's available through 8 pm tonight, but it's not open to the general public. You had to sign up in order to get the link and password. Filmed On Stage is just a hub that shows what's available, and provides links to the actual websites. Their information isn't always the most accurate or up-to-date.

Posted: 5/10/20 at 4:25pmMan, it was great. Watched it yesterday and was absolutely blown away. I mean everything about it was perfect and at no time did I miss anyone or anything about the OBC, which was one of my alltime favorite productions.

I certainly wouldn't mind paying to see this production, but I was incredibly frustrated by how difficult it was to get tickets - I don't mean in terms of availability, I mean finding the f%$@ng link. Every time I tried, I just got bounced to the cast reunion. Maddening.

They didn't sell tickets to this event, only subscribers to TheaterWorks got to see this.

It wasn't just subscribers, but you did have to be on TheaterWorks' mailing list, from attending at least one of their productions. Filmed On Stage should never have listed it on their website. You'll get better information on this board than you will from there.

Just watched last week's episode with Barrett Wilbert Weed and Rachel Schur and it was more fun than I expected it to be.
My Broadway Memory, a new live, visual podcast — a celebration of memorable experiences at the theatre with Broadway’s biggest names. During each episode, a guest will choose a Playbill from their collection at random and take a trip down memory lane. In addition to discussing the actual show, Michael, Brian, and guests will discuss the headshots, ads, and other traits that make a Playbill a time capsule of Broadway history.

I messaged the theater directly on Facebook when I saw it on Filmed on Stage website, and they told me all I had to do was go to their website and subscribe to their mailing list. It was easy, but I agree it was not very clear how to sign up (likely due to the limited licensing they had for distribution).
That said, the show was fantastic. I've seen the show professionally a number of times, including the OBC. This was the first production I felt had a fresh vision. The mechanism for Gabe was spectacular and the way they added emphasis between the Gabe/Dan relationship was fascinating as well.
I really hope this is the beginning of seeing more productions from regional theaters streaming in some fashion. I, for one, would love to see Signature Theatre's Titanic.
