I find it interesting because Seth and James have done some incredible reunions and brought back good memories, but there are so many broadway biggies who haven’t yet participated, and if there was ever a time we needed them, it’s now. I need Mandy and Patti. I need Bernadette. I need Nathan and Faith. I need Dick Van Dyke (felt like I needed the last name on that one). And so many more. Joel and Chita seem like people who have theater in their bones, so it makes sense that they’ve done it, and I sincerely appreciate it.

My biggest question is where is Barbra in all of this? She’s posting pictures on Instagram of roses, but it would be nice to actually hear from her (even it was on Lady Gaga’s special or something else) and the people who we’ve all supported for years. At least Julie was on GMA to brighten spirits. Everyone is home. I get that we’re all dealing with this differently. I know that this is just a kind thing that people are doing, but I just wish we’d hear from more of the living legends.

He may not be a “living legend,” but I’d also like to have Malcolm Gets. I’ve been a fan for a while, but you don’t hear from him much anymore. Let’s bring him back with the cast of A New Brain.
