Who has seen this Netflix documentary series yet? It is absolutely insanity and I love it. It's the reason we have documentaries: There is no playwright, screenwriter, or novelist on this planet that could create a character as interesting as Joe Exotic.

An animal abuser and being a general as*hole is "interesting"?

I'm not denying Joe Exotic is a horrible person, and neither is the documentary. He's the personification of a car accident: no matter how bad it is, it's impossible to not watch it.

The whole thing was wild but I totally think Carole Baskin killed her husband. She has those crazy eyes.

I don’t think Carole killed Don. But she *definitely* tampered with those wills.

Watch the show for even a single episode and you'll never stop flossing.

And there is no doubt in my mind that Carole killed Don.

That was the best end-of-episode stinger I've ever seen.

I can’t wait for the inevitable TIGER KING: THE MUSICAL.

Give me Emily Skinner as Carole.

It was a brilliant series about an utterly disgusting bunch of vile creatures...and I don't mean the tigers.

Couldn't get into it.....have no desire to give up that much time on disgusting humans.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

The only satisfying thing about it was watching psychopaths take each other down.

It was like watching the Trump Administration for 7 hours.

I don’t understand the holier than thou people who are “too good” to watch this. You wouldn’t watch a movie or documentary about Hitler? General Franco? The Manson Family?

Watching a film or documentary isn’t condoning the behavior or choices depicted in it.

Especially when the person saying it loves someone who put 200 people out of work x

This bizarre documentary has brought us all together during the coronavirus. On my family's Facebook page, there is a battle of the memes going on. Cardi B is lobbying for Joe Exotic's release. Too wild. Bring on Season 2.

It's Hands on a Hard Body meets Queer as Folk via The Sopranos starring Sigfried, Roy and Corky St. Clair. You can practically taste the meth while watching it. A cautionary tale for those who love exotic pets and polygamy.

Because of people watching this filth he is gloating and happy as can be. You put money in his white trash pockets. Congratulations.

"Most of the tigers we were around were subjected to abject cruelty," Chaiklin said. "We saw babies being torn from their mothers and screaming. They'd get sick from being handled so much and get ringworm and mange. It was disturbing."

I agree. The defensiveness is this thread about this show is...interesting. And why would I care about what other people are watching in America? That new feature has got to go.

He isn't making any money off of this. Netflix is, so cancel your subscription if it bothers you. In the meantime, this  abuser is in jail where he belongs. The quote you provided actually comes from one of the filmmakers.

The series is a strange combination for sure. Exposing disturbing "Big Cats" players, with an over-the-top engaging PT Barnum character in the forefront. At the end, it was a relief to see some of the Big Cats owners exposed for who they really are. I would like to see more of that in Season 2 and the end of Big Cats preserves in the U.S. So there could be an important upside to this series.

I mean, a lot of people thought Blackfish would open people's eyes to what's going on at Sea World, and yet those orca shows were still being performed multiple times a day at their parks and they continue to hire and promote "trainers" with absolutely no background in marine biology.
