I am confident that some sense of normalcy will return to life. When it does, my first Bucket List item is to hug the people I care about. Second, get a haircut. And third, hope that the touring company production of "My Fair Lady" makes its scheduled Southern California visit.

I just want to see my students. (I happened to be on a bway online class with one of my students and nearly cried to see her.)
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

(not really in any specific order)
-reschedule my family’s NYC trip/seeing Hadestown (that was supposed to happen this coming weekend)
-get back to the community production of Matilda that I’m on the costume team for that had to get postponed
-hang out with my best friend and other people who I don’t live with
-go out to dinner in a restaurant
-get back to choir

1) See and hug my daughters
2) Go out to eat every night for a week and leave huge tip for waiters.
3) Reschedule our Alaskan cruise.

My husband and I are definitely "cat people". Our days are made better by sharing our lives with Zeeva, a girl kitty. We had planned to adopt another cat when this current crisis is over. When I returned home from a recent hospitalization, I was greeted at the door by Zeeva. And two other beautiful cats. "Spot" (a boy) and "Cloud" (a girl). During my absence, my husband found these sister and brother cats on the local Humane Society website. They had been given over by owners who could no longer care for them. He had several phone conversations with the staff, went to to the shelter to meet the cats, and brought them home without my knowledge. He knew it would please me. We are now a happy family of five.
More and more people are having to give up their animal companions because of Covid-19. If you are able, please consider sharing your home with an animal in need.

-See all of my students in person.
-Not be afraid boyfriend will die. He’s a PA in a major university systems’s cardiothoracic department and 5 weeks ago was recruited into COVID-19 care.
-Visit my parents in person.
-Be in peace with nature for an extended period of time.
-Visit my 98 year old grandmother
-2021 Disney Princess Fairy Tale Challenge Run

- hug my mother and grandmother (I may knock them over)
- reunite with my friends
- get a haircut
- go out to a bar to simply sit and people watch and enjoy the cacophony.
- visit the local theater I'm a subscriber to
- visit all my favorite restaurants and leave giant tips
- rebook my trips to visit my sister in Florida, to see my best friend, and visit NYC for theater, any theater
- revel in the ability to be outside without a mask again

My husband and I don't gamble and we don't drink alcohol, but we love Las Vegas. We visit almost yearly. We always stay at the Bellagio Hotel, home of the beautiful dancing water show. We plan to head to Las Vegas for New Year's Eve 2021 (heading into 2022) with several other couples. Both of us will have 75th birthdays in January, and we are very happy that our friends will join us there in celebration.
We will all get through this temporary crisis. Stay Strong, Vegas!

It all depends on when "normal" returns. I have a number of timely things on my bucket list I hope will happen but only time will tell. Like....
- PA Renn Faire in August
- Ticket for "Six" at the end of October and then another PA Renn Faire return trip (they do a spoooooooky themed plot line during the last three weeks my BF has never been to so taking him to that... hopefully)
- My friend's wedding in November. God don't let the money I spent on a bridesmaid dress I hate go to waste.
- Disney College Program Alumni Weekend/Disney vacation in January.

Short term bucket list (by end of 2022):
- se Asia for 6 week (Thailand,Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia)
- New York trip (moulin rouge, six, Mrs Doubtfire, company, Girl From The North, diana)
- White House visit
- Garden Party at Buckingham Palace
- book release
- trip out to Spain/Portugal/Morocco
- disneyworld for their 50th with a group of friends who have never been to a theme park in 2022
... well see what happens 4 of them were supposed to have already happened but these closures have canceled/postponed some.

IN ORDER:
-- See my children, be able to hug them, talk about getting back to normal and what I can do to help them
-- See my close friends
-- Look at my life savings and conclude that there is still have enough there to allow me to do some of the following things
-- Pig out on ethnic food (I am soooo sick of my own cooking and I am really a good cook); I have attempted and failed to make good Indian, Thai, Japanese or Chinese food)
-- See The Music Man, West Side Story, and Company
-- Attend performances in two local theatre companies in Sarasota for which I have already paid for next season...hoping they will survive
-- Begin to travel again

Finally get to wear the TEN themed costumes along with my husband that we planned to wear on this July's big gay cruise in the Mediterranean. 10 themed parties in 7 days, ranging from Roman Empire to Circus, Wild West to Neon, Drag, Fetish and of course White Party. All the outfits are packed in giant ziplock bags in hopes that the cruise happens finally in 2021. (Have I said too much...?)

In my younger years, I enjoyed doing needlepoint. But then I stopped, for whatever reason. I have wanted to get back to it, and now I have. I'm doing a very colorful canvas of a psychedelic cat that will eventually become a pillow. Keeps me occupied as I'm yelling at the TV.
Do you have hobbies that help keep you sane these days?

finally seeing HAMILTON in person at the Pantages Theatre, Hollywood, this fall...after 2 performances that i had tickets for in May and August, were canceled by the pandemic!!...

I don't even know what my bucket list is anymore...it's almost weird to say/ask, but does anyone feel weird having one, knowing this **** is only going to get worse so therefore, what's the point of having one since the likelihood of it, or anything on it, coming to fruition is low?
But back to the topic...
Hoping that the 'Notre Dame" run at Lincoln Center will still happen at some point, I'm absolutely going. (EDIT-It was already postponed to 2022, not shocked this got lost in everything going on...)
Visit more restaurants run by POC as to experience even more food from other cultures.
Tackle my life goal more head one...this one is weird but still.
Travel more. Again, weird and this hinges on actually having money. Ok, everything on this list does, but travel especially does.
I feel like there's more that I've forgotten mostly due to losing hope daily.
