Did anyone else sing the title to this thread to the tune of “Michael in the Bathroom”? Not even a BMC fan. This is how we know I’m losing my mind. Like Patti.

I always think of that story from Laura Benanti’s cabaret act of the first time she got drunk with Patti. She said she woke up the next morning in the shower with her clothes on, and when her then husband asked her what happened, she just looked up from the floor and said “PATTI LUPONE”.

 I know Glenn Close had negotiated in her contract that she would get to keep her costumes but I have a nagging suspicion that Patti LuPone just outright stole hers!
