I wonder if she has her desk in storage and will haul it out for the show. I’m so curious how many will be face to face interviews /performances and how many will be Skyped in. I’m so excited for it her reuniting with John as well. I hope it’s the same format all around and just a return of broadway loving, queen of nice. Rosie O’Donnell show.
Also curious who she’s gonna have introduce it. “Hi I’m and this is the Rosie O’Donnell show. On today’s show so many freaking broadway stars it’s crazy. Hit it John”

She’s using the format Seth Rudetsky has been doing so this won’t be a full recreation of her talk show with sit-down guests. Artists will be Skyping from their homes.
Presented in partnership with Revelations Entertainment and Broadway.com, The Rosie O’Donnell Show will be available Sunday March 22 at 7 PM on Broadway.com, and will also be livestreamed on Broadway.com’s YouTube channel.
The program will feature performances and appearances from stars signing in from their own homes. Matthew Broderick, Kristin Chenoweth, Darren Criss, Gloria Estefan, Billy Porter, Morgan Freeman and many others are scheduled.

It’s definitely longer than an hour. It’s not a literal reboot of her former talk show — it’s about her format of showcasing Broadway talent. Everyone is reading WAY too much into this and expecting this to be on the same set with the same curtains and stage. Everyone, including Rosie, will be live streaming from their homes. Everyone will be remote, just like this illustration with her popping out of the computer screen.

Doubt it. Unless the artists are tech savvy and know how to do a proper home set-up, expect the same audio and video glitches. I’m sure Rosie will be fine but most of these performers don’t even know how to check voicemails on their phones. Hahaha.

I’m excited especially since I found myself watching the 2006 Bratwurst eating contest for a bit this afternoon!! I hope I make through April!
