You'll be back soon, and we'll be here.

In the meantime, here's one of my favorite theater moments.  Perhaps you would like to post some of your favorites?   Theater is global, so anything (musicals, plays, dance, opera, flash mobs, personal memories.........) from anywhere (Broadway, Los Angeles, Rio, London, Tokyo..........).

Just to tide us over.

The lineup honoring Barbara Cook for her Kennedy Center Honors has yet to be surpassed. I watch this at least monthly.

My first Broadway show. 1990. Broadway Theater. Miss Saigon.

I fell in love with theater.

I used to think that musical theater was sully as I was a follower of opera since my teens.

But after Saigon i learned more about musical theater.

Now I go to Broadway 2x a year since 1990.

And I am missing the excitement of all the show previewing leading up to opening then to nominations and to the biggest party of all.

The Tony Awards!

And this is just Day 1 of 30.

Let's see if this works...  Carol Channing's introduction and Jack Benny's presentation make this even more special than the number itself, which is pretty special. You can feel the love.

This clip has given me so much joy over the years. The ultimate Tonys performance, in my opinion...

NPH had a truly great Tony's hosting year in 2013. The opening is my favorite of all time, followed closely by this from later in the show. I watch both of these at least 1x a month.

Maybe not one of this boards favorite shows, and looking back on it I see the flaws but 14 yr old me absolutely adored this show and this song. This song (and this performance) always gives me chills and a feeling of happiness and peace. I recommend everyone a watch during these times, stay safe, happy, and healthy BWW!

Must watch  :)

This teen’s performance in the passenger seat of his mom’s car is worthy of Broadway

Watch him flamboyantly lip synch along with more than two dozen Broadway hits, from Hamilton to Rocky Horror. Watch her ignore him completely.

Petulia Clark !!!   Just as wonderful and beautiful and talented today at 87 years young as she was when she first started performing way back in 1942.  A treasure.

I had hoped that the West End production of "Top Hat" would make its way west, and perhaps one day it will.  Meanwhile, here are some (if not all) of the London cast on "Strictly Come Dancing".
