What would you all say is the most uplifting and upbeat score out there? Preferably one where plot isnt all that necessary. Could certainly use some suggestions right now

The three scores I go to when I want something upbeat and fun are:

9 to 5: the Musical, Tarzan (skip the first 2 tracks), and the movie soundtrack to Hello, Dolly! (Dollypop, I hope its okay!)

She Loves Me always puts a smile on my face when I listen to it. Listening to it's like falling in love: It makes everything else in the world seem a little better.

I agree with She Loves Me. Hello Dolly is another good example. They just make you smile.

It's quite obvious how I feel about SLM (my name is Amalia Balash lol), but I agree. There's something about the music that makes my heart flutter!

I like "uplifting" with a funny and clever edge.  From Cole Porter's "Red, Hot and Blue".

I second "Hairspray" and if you want something with a little bit more contemporary sound, for me personally "Legally Blonde" always puts me in a good mood. A lot of energetic songs that have an uplifting feel to them: Oh my God you guys, What you want, Keep it positive, So much better, Legally Blonde Remix

Book of Mormon, Hairspray, Legally Blonde (although the cast album sounds like it was recorded in a tin can), Drowsy Chaperone.
