“Company” Rush/Lottery

HI all,

I’m staying out of the preview thread because I am seeing the show in May and want to go in blind, so apologies if this topic is being covered there. Please share your experiences with affordable ticket options for the current Broadway revival of “Company,” including rush, lottery, TDF, discounts, etc. I know they are offering rush even now, because the show’s Facebook page posted a rush line pic of the first preview. Thank you! <3

Also curious about this! If anyone has been one of the first few people in line, where were your seats? Thinking about going real early for this one....

Wasn’t able to get to the rush line this morning, but decided to see if there were any rush or unclaimed lottery tickets left anyway. Got to the box office at 6:55 pm for an 8:00 pm show, and, to my surprise, I was able to get a rush ticket. Orchestra Row P all the way to the right. The view is perfectly fine, maybe have missed a few seconds of action on stage left. I’ve also noticed about 30 people in SRO. Not sure if they sold those tickets before or after I got there.

I had a terrible time with the Rush tickets on Saturday. I was in NY for only a few days and Saturday was going to be my only chance to get Rush tickets for Company. I didn't want to take a chance so I arrived at 6:15am and was second in line. It was 32 degrees but I knew it was going to be worth it. I had gone to the box office the day before and they had assured me that there would be Rush tickets every day....but they couldn't promise the amount of tickets they would have. At 8am a janitor told the group that they would move the line inside around 9am so that we could get warm. There were about 30 people in line at that point. A little after 9am someone came out and told us that there would be no Rush tickets at all and that a lottery for standing room would start at 10am. Of course people were upset. We asked why, if they knew there wouldn't be Rush tickets for that night, wouldn't they put a sign out or in the window. They answered that the theater didn't allow it. The person who answered the question was pretty rude and dismissive. Came back for the standing room lottery and was surprised to.find about 300 people for 12 pairs of standing room tickets.

Do you know if this was a special case considering that was the day of their first "in person lottery" as mentioned on their social media. Will normal rush resume/ will rush tickets normally be available?

Based on their grosses, they sold SRO for the entire week. Anyone have details on their SRO policy? Are they sold after rush? Does the show have to be sold out?
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I stopped by the box office around 4:45pm today to ask about standing room tickets. The person working the box office stated that they sold all the standing room spots right when the box office opened at 10am. I didn't ask if they also had rush tickets for sale in addition to the standing room spots.

Also I checked Telecharge and there was still a pair of seats available around noon today which means they weren't 100% sold out when they sold standing room that morning unless those tickets were released later in the day.

I am currently in line for rush tickets for this evening. I am 4th in line and arrived at 7:30. I’ll report back after the box office opens!

Did they sell and then refund rush tickets on Thursday?
