Do you mean Umbrella Academy? I agree that I was really looking forward to it as well. Just finished Episode 1 of season 2. It looks so promising. I feel like this season will be even better than 1st since now we'll really get to go into these characters.

Just finished watching The Babysitters Club. If you want something light and nostalgic, this is a lot of fun. It's filmed in Vancouver so lots of familiar faces from Hallmark and other tv shows. Alicia Silverstone and Mark Feurstein are also in it.

Next I plan to watch Seasons 2 and 3 of Selling Sunset as well as finally checking out Unorthodox. I'm also waiting for Season 12 of Heartland to drop any day now.

It's all about Season 2 of Criminal UK, especially episode 4.  I had only watched one episode of The Big Bang Theory which didn't exactly wow me so I was unprepared for the masterclass in acting that Kunal Nayyar would deliver as the criminal Sandeep in that episode.  I'm still asking myself today, "what did I witness on my TV", in a good way.  And full credit to the camera crew who make a slightly built Kunal morph into a mammoth presence on screen.

Finally got caught up on The Crown. (Had last season to watch). Plan to start "Dead to Me" tonight or tomorrow. I still have yet to watch the current season of "Sex Education".

Waiting for an announcement on Season four for "Dear White People". Hoping for another season of "The World's Most Extraordinary Homes" (Addicted)  and looking forward to the next season of "Bonding".

Just give the world Love.

I LOVE Dead to Me.   Are you just starting the first or 2nd season?

SUCH good writing, characters and actors.    Can't wait for a Season 3!

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Love Dead to Me as well and binged season 2 very quickly.  Happy that Catherine O’Hara won the recent Emmy for lead actress in a comedy but I have to say that a large part of my heart was rooting for Linda Cardellini and Christina Applegate. They are so good together and would have been pleased if either won.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned Ratched so far.  I am up to episode 5 and have enjoyed much of the camp, colors, wardrobe, cinematography and especially getting to see many stage actors on TV.

Jon Jon Briones is so so good as the neurotically addicted insane asylum head doctor.  Sharon Stone chewing the scenery is always a treat but this time she’s got a costumed rhesus monkey on her shoulder.  Finn Wintrock is truly diabolical as the priest-killing mass murderer locked in the most enticingly atmosheric wine cellar.  Corey Stoll as the deadpan gumshoe up for any job.  Harriet Harris about to undergo severe hydro-therapy to wash away her lesbionic proclivities.  Amanda Plummer in her Norman Bates-like role as owner of the seaside motel who has a penchant for leaches.  Of course Sarah Paulson is simply magnetic as Mildred Ratched the nurse you just love to love.  You must watch simply for the costumes and wigs alone!

But my absolute favorite Is Judy Davis chewing more scenery as the lunch-pail toting lead nurse Betsy Bucket who is secretly in love with Dr. Hanover (Briones).  Thrilling when she is on and especially as Ratched’s foil.  This show is so much fun.

Going to start the first season. So upset I didn't know about it when it started. I really became a fan of Christina Applegate after seeing her in "Sweet Charity". I was never a Married....With Children fan.

Started it this evening. 2 episodes in. I watched the trailer a while back and put it on my list. After the past week I decided I could use a laugh. The trailer pulled me in with what appeared to be some twisted comedy. I have laughed a few times but, oh boy, did NOT see this coming! I gasped at the end of both episodes......And I am all in on this one! I have to see where they are going with this.

Nice to see Ed Asner James Marsdan and Telma Hopkins.

I enjoyed it. Paris was a lovely background. The script was ok however and some of the supporting actors seemed like they had little acting experience. The lead was solid and I liked Park. Some handsome men as well.

Just watched American Murder: The Family Next Door ...uh, wow. Wow. It's the first of it's kind, using all live actual footage thanks to bodycams, cctv, and the way we all live our lives online. If you don't already know about this murder, don't google it. Just watch it.

Of course, The Social Dilemma. Yes, yes .. I know, I hear you. But, like... just STFU and watch it. It should be a requirement for every person online today. I've spent YEARS trying to explain everything this film talks about to friends and family, only to have them role their eyes and claim conspiracy theories. Which is frustrating considering the "specific work" I've done in the "tech field" you'd think they'd stop for a second and listen to what I have to say. Shout out to everyone out of or fighting their NDAs. Thank you for your service.

Oh my God, American Murder was crazy. I watched a few true crime documentaries with their family as the focus but this dove in deep. I think it's fascinating to many people why someone who has a nice home, nice family, and a pretty decent life would throw it all away and in two months time be in prison for the rest of their life. I mean, it happened in August and it wrapped up in November, he didn't bother with a trial.

His wife was really annoying but all you do is simply file for divorce and continue on with your affair. Murdering her and his daughters for no reason at all is deeply evil and horrifying. He belongs in prison forever with all his marriage proposals from around the Country.

The Social Dilemma is on my list.

I just added a recommended series called "Borgen" form 2012. It has 3 seasons. A Danish drama series about a woman's rise to be the first Prime Minister of Denmark. It has subtitles but it looks like some English is also spoken.

Just watched a movie with a message about gentrification called "Vampires vs The Bronx". It is sprinkled with a bit of humor and horror and is predictable but I enjoyed it. About 90 minutes long.

I also recommend a movie I actually saw a while ago called "Saturday Church". It is about a NY teen struggling with gender identity. MJ Rodriguez is in it. It is a low budget film.  Am glad I watched it.

I watched Catfish having been unfamiliar with it. The protagonist came off much differently than he does on Dancing With The Stars.

A silly guilty pleasure I keep coming back to whenever I need my 'travel fix' is Emily in Paris. Oh that city is just TOO beautiful, it really does belong in a fairy tale. Talking of which, that Chef---I need to use his shower!

I think that most of the supporting characters have never worked professionally before but who cares, Emily and the Chef are the show.

And if you like to drool over a handsome man with perfect skin--the Russian series--Silver Spoon. He is just drop dead[married with 2 children, yes I know, lost cause but one can look and press pause[constantly].

The first 20mins he is the most obnoxious pretty play boy but then the whole thing becomes something different and seriously you are just drawn in by this/his attitude/mannerisms/cheeky swagger/great body/narrow waist/full lips, oh sorry. and it is well written, I think.

Netflix had to ask if I were still watching??? Stupid question and it goes for 3 seasons--YEH !!

Anybody watched “Someone Has to Die” on Netflix yet? I haven’t but it’s piqued my interest— It’s a Spanish-Mexican limited series about a Spanish family in the 50s dealing with their son who is having a relationship with a Mexican danseur. Pedro Almodóvar favorite Carmen Maura (Women on the Verge...) gets top billing. Looks very interesting! It’s by the person who did “House of Flowers,” which I haven’t seen either.

Trying to watch only spooky, Halloween-related stuff but this might break me. This past year I’ve gotten heavy into Almodovar so anything with Carmen Maura is of interest to me. If I can wait, it will be a nice treat for surviving past the election— this and The Crown Season 4.

Started the new season of David Letterman's sow "My next Guest Needs No Introduction".

Watched the first one with Kim Kardashian. I am not a Kardashian fan. Never watched the show. This was a good interview. I knew about the robbery in Paris but she describes it in detail here and I was almost in tears. I have enjoyed interviews with her in the past but this one is longer and, for me, just let gave you more insight into her and her rise to fame, which she discusses. And yes, the whole clan was in the audience. The clips of her and Dave shopping at CVS are too cute.

Looking forward to the Dave Chappelle and Robert Downey Jr. episodes which I am about to watch.

Edit: Finished all four (The final interview was Lizzo)  Of the four I was the least impressed with the Robert Downey Jr. interview. Just wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be. He came off more "Hollywood" than the rest of the guests.

I am not a real Lizzo fan but this was a wonderful, and very funny, interview. Her positivity and laugh are a bit infectious. Loved her story about moving to MN and meeting Prince. She was just refreshing and an open book pretty much.

The Chapelle interview was my favorite. I was Chapelle and it was deep. And with the two of them it was just an excellent conversation. I want to move to that town in Ohio he lives in! It is filmed in what looks like the park where he did that short set earlier this year. Really really good interview.

It looks like the Chapelle and Lizzo interviews were done this past summer. Masks were worn by the audience for Chappele and they showed the crew preparing for the Lizzo interview including the mention of she and Letterman being tested several times before the interview and showing their temperature checks. Her episode was the only one that did not include them somewhere outside of the interview space. And hers was done in her home.

Just give the world Love.
