I love that they are even bothering to open this following the drubbing it got on Netflix. They must be absolutely crazy and I love it. 

Do people sit there laughing at it?

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Time will tell when the producers decide to throw in the towel. Remember that much of this producing team also worked on Escape to Margaritaville, which got trashed and ran 3 and a half months after officially opening.

Not as bad as these critics say. Evita lite. And Jeanna de Waal does a great job as Diana. My biggest complaint is about the music. Every song assaults you with volume and intensity until you cave into boredom. I also found myself thinking that it seemed there wasn’t enough story there - rehashing the infidelity over and over. And then she dies.  And every song starts sounding the same.  again, Jeanna does a great job. 8 shows a week? Wow!
