Tonight was the premiere episode of the twelfth season premiere of "RuPaul's Drag Race". This episode was part one of a two-part premiere and only introduced seven of the thirteen queens of the season and featured Hip-Hop artist Nikki Minaj as the celebrity judge. This episode was one of the most enjoyable premiere episodes that I have seen of the show and can't wait to see the rest of the queens next week. The main one that I am rooting for this year is the Widow Von'Du!
LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED IT. Widow is fierce but I think I’m all aboard the Jackie Cox train. Also I was dreading Minaj being on the show but the bitch proved me wrong and I want her as a permanent judge every week.
Came on here last night and was surprised no one had started a thread. Happy to see one started. This is the first season I am able to watch (instead of dailymotion) since I got extended cable. Didn't realize how long the show was with the commercials. Missed Dynasty (which is probably a blessing) last night. I really like the personality of Widow and the one whose name they don't like. She looks to be the best dancer, But fear, if she gets future negative critiques, it will get in her head and she will be her own downfall.

I just found her a little 'uppity' and she was the poor unfortunate stuck with this weeks crammed in 'message/issue' which always turns me off someone. I felt the same way about Nina West.
I may warm to her though, unlike Brita who is just obnoxious...

Really? Then how come you can't dance?
I'm sure there's bound to be more unlikable people entering next week
Absolutely LOVED it! Jackie, Widow, and Gigi is who I'm keeping my eyes on. Can't wait until next week when the other six queens get here. Season 12 might look a lot better than last season was and I liked it.
My personal wish list for a top 4 maybe Gigi, Sherry, Jaida and Jackie this year. Crossing fingers!
I can’t ever watch last season again. Stinky Nutsack Garbage completely ruined it. It could have been great but it was the absolute worst season of the show ever.
From the second Widow walked in, I had her pegged as the winner of the episode. I mean, come ON! “Relax your throats, b*tches, ‘cuz you’re gagging” is immediately iconic. And while she let the other girls get to her a little too much in rehearsal, she absolutely slayed the performance and lip sync.
I’m also very here for Jackie and Gigi. The other girls I’m going to need to see more of to decide. I am glad Ru decided not to eliminate anyone the first two weeks (theoretically, they’re keeping the same format, at least next week). Give all the queens a moment to adjust and get whatever they need to out of their systems and then hit the ground running once all of them are together week 3.
Also, that may have been the most overall solid group performance in Drag Race herstory.

For those of you who know the NYC drag scene. When I was visiting last year in September (Flea Market weekend), I went to a late afternoon bingo game at the Ritz on a Sunday. There were two queens hosting. I'm pretty sure one of the queens was Sherry Pie. Would that be true or am I completely wrong? I remember the show was suppose to start at like 4:00. It didn't start until close to 6:00. Once the show started I could only stay for a few minutes. Went to evening performance of Moulin Rouge.
From the videos of the season 12 queens on YT, if what they say is true then we're looking at one of the strongest group of queens Drag Race has had in a long while. Even though I hope that Sherry Pie, Jaida Essence Hall, Gigi Goode and Jackie Cox are in the top 4, I wouldn't mind if Crystal and/or Widow take Jackie's place that's how impressed I am of this season.
WOW! Just freaking wow! Due to the Sherry Pie accusations, she is disqualified from the finale which is something that hasn't been done before on the show. Jeez and I was so excited for her...
Well it's aired and I appreciate that VH1 did a disclaimer about the Sherry Pie situation. As for the episode itself, it's made me excited for how the rest of the season is going to play out, and that's all I'm going to say about it.
The second group is a lot weaker than the first group, and the only two that made an impression on me was Jan and Rock M. Sherrie Pie with all of the "hype" came across as a poor man's Bette Midler/Vicky Vox/Harvey Fierstein rip-off. Her second runway look gave me Sadie Shelton from "Big Business" creeps. I can say that Jan will definitely be in the final three of the show, she's an amazing performer!
Finally a season of some truly amazing queens , pity about the sherry pie controversy that may take away from really how fab this group is.
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

Rock & Jan we’re definitely my favorites last night and (sorry not sorry) I really loved Sherry and was surprised nobody, even get, clocked the “Big Business” look. I loved it. But now that we’ve met them all, my top 4 are Widow, Jan, Rock & Jackie.
