I'm reading different reports but the consensus seems to be that Pete won the caucus, but Bernie won the popular vote--but it looks like it's only at 99% counting, and both declared victory. So who is it? Or is it neither yet?
Bernie won like Hillary won the 2016 popular vote. Yeah the pop vote seems a more fair way of declaring the winner, but it isn’t actually the metric that counts— which it appears Mayor Pete won, by a hair. 2020 is in fact only the first time we even know what the popular vote is in the Iowa caucus. Anyway, I say complain and change the rules of the game before you start playing...
